KYOTO Design Lab is happy to announce that we will be inviting the global design company Goodpatch to run the Interaction Design Workshop for the first time in Kyoto!
About Goodpatch
Goodpatch is a UI design company in constant pursuit of creating design & products that move people's hearts. It has been helping businesses design and develop digital products since 2011, with studios in Tokyo and Berlin, and has worked on some of Japan's biggest apps such as Gunosy, Money Forward, and Mery. Goodpatch's prototyping tool, Prott, has been used over 140 countries and changing the way UI is designed.
Overview
In this three hour workshop, you'll get to experience the process through which Goodpatch designs UI. Utilizing Prott, you'll interview users and gain an understanding of how to draw insights as well as the mindset required for prototyping and designing UI.
Workshop Flow
At the beginning of the workshop, you will learn why design is important for UI and the key aspects of the Goodpatch design process. From there, you form teams and gain a better understanding of your user. In the later half of the workshop, you'll create ideas and prototypes and further develop them by communicating with your users.
Target Audience
* You want to learn creative processes focusing on the user
* You've heard of design and prototyping but never tried it before and want to
* You are curious about the Goodpatch Design Process
* You don't fit in the above three but are generally interested in design and creating web-based services
Note
This workshop is normally offered to individual companies and closed, but the Kyoto Design Lab is hosting the event and opening it to the general public this time.
